The 4th grade students have begun "Minds in Motion" in conjunction with the Jacob Burns Film Center. They will be working on creating, writing, directing, animating, and filming their own 1 minute stop motion animation. Using i-pads, voice over and editing skills to showcase their work in June on the big screen and red carpet event at the JBFC, and then who knows, maybe the Oscars.
2014 Cupcake Wars
We would like thank all of the families for participating in the cupcake wars. This year's entrants really took it to the next level. The students had a very hard time voting but we did have a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd place winners. In 3rd place was Haley and Kaleigh Dodson with Cheeseburgers and Fries. 2nd place was Mary Whalenfrom 3D with Minecraft Cupcakes and in 1st place was Jon Khader with his Italian Ice Cupcakes. Again we would like to thank everyone especially the parents for making this such a wonderful event and always showing such great school spirit.
See, Hear, Feel Film
Our 3rd grade Pulaski students have been introduced to the Jacob Burns Film Center and their See,Hear,Feel Film program. Students have learned that writing is a major part of the "behind the scenes" film creations and movie productions that we watch in movie theaters. Our students were exposed to animations that have been written and produced by children of the same age. Connecting writing and imagination into the art of film-making has motivated our students to write in journals and begin their own stories, productions, and animations. We are all looking forward to seeing our future stars in well-known movies and credits.
2013-14 7th Grade Production
Dreams Across the World
Dreams across the world was written by the 7th Grade Drama Class. Students were able to collaborate and learn about script writing and play production with the help of Gigi Peterson a PTA Parent.

On Halloween, grades Pre-K through 6 had a wonderful time parading on the field for Pulaski’s 1st Annual “Trunk-or-Treat” event. This turned out to be a spooktacular occasion for all. Every classroom had a car decorated with haunting surprises! There were monsters, creatures, webs, and not to mention, lots of goodies for each child to parade around and receive. Mrs. Koppe’s class won the $50.00 gift card for the best decorated car. We would like to thank our awesome 7th and 8th grade helpers, as well as our wonderful parents. Congratulations to all for a terrific job on making this such a memorable event.
