See, Hear, Feel Film

Our 3rd grade Pulaski students have been introduced to the Jacob Burns Film Center and their See,Hear,Feel Film program. Students have learned that writing is a major part of the "behind the scenes" film creations and movie productions that we watch in movie theaters.  Our students were exposed to animations that have been written and produced by children of the same age. Connecting writing and imagination into the art of film-making has motivated our students to write in journals and begin their own stories, productions, and animations.  We are all looking forward to seeing our future stars in well-known movies and credits.

Twisting to Help Those in Need

On Friday December 6, 2013 students, staff and faculty gathered in the gym to dance to the Twist. Everyone who entered the gym to participate donated no less than $1.00, in addition to purchasing a $1.00 raffle ticket to win a gift basket. Our generous Casimir Pulaski Family collected a total of $600.00 in order to help those in need who lost everything in the tornadoes in the Mid-West last November.

David Horn in Ms. O'Gormans class was the winner of the gift basket. Congratulations David and the entire Casimir Pulaski family for the continued support to others in need.

On Halloween, grades Pre-K through 6 had a wonderful time parading on the field for Pulaski’s 1st Annual “Trunk-or-Treat” event. This turned out to be a spooktacular occasion for all. Every classroom had a car decorated with haunting surprises! There were monsters, creatures, webs, and not to mention, lots of goodies for each child to parade around and receive. Mrs. Koppe’s class won the $50.00 gift card for the best decorated car. We would like to thank our awesome 7th and 8th grade helpers, as well as our wonderful parents. Congratulations to all for a terrific job on making this such a memorable event.
